    Often times the question of how to successfully remove scales comes up in the SOSAK forum at www.knifeforums.com and the answers usually vary by about the same number of folks who post responses!  I was planning on posting this in the FAQ section, but I got a few too many pictures to post in a brief format like the FAQ's.  So, here is how I remove SAK scales.

    To enter the SOSAKOnline contest for the shirt, simply complete the short questionnaire and your name will be entered into a draw.  The shirt is a brand new Denver Hayes cotton blend shirt, size XL, with the SOSAKOnline logo on the left breast, similar to the one in the picture.  Entries must be submitted by April 15th, 2006 to be eligeable.

This button can be used to finish a square or rounded knot braiding. It can also be done with more cords than the four I have used, but I'll show it with four to make it easier to follow. Also, of course, it can be done with leather lacing, and I think it looks beautiful when done that way. I use it alot on my leather lanyards.

    I am a person who believes in being prepared. Sure, I have to deal with those out there who call me paranoid, but I just ignore them. Inevitably they seem to come to me to ask for something I have. It goes to show that preparedness is something that everyone can appreciate.
