My name is Tom Meeker, many of you know me as Rotokid. I have been a collector of many things over the years such as Baseball cards, tools, knives and a few others. When my father Tim (Felinevet) became involved with selling Swiss army knives to help fund his non profit organization I began to really look at Swiss army knives from a collectors point of view.

Travis Autry is a native North Carolinian, born and raised near Fayetteville.  His hometown, Autryville,  is smaller than the fictional "Mayberry" from The Andy Griffith Show.  He now resides in rural Johnston County near the town of Four Oaks with his wife, son, three dogs, two cats, several firearms and a multitude of knives.

I have been a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Dealer for a couple of years now and a fan of SAKs for many years. I founded a nonprofit charity corporation, Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program ( in 2002 and decided to use my love of SAKs as a major fundraising vehicle for FVEAP.

Tim is perhaps the finest knife dealer to be found anywhere!

I was born in 1977 in Mar del Plata, (population 600,000) a city in Argentina, is not a small city but also not big, we have some nice beaches and nice sierras too.

Recently Swissbianco managed to convince Victorinox to create another special run of SAKs for SOSAK members.  The first one was a run of Yeoman models, a faithful recreation of a discontinued favorite, but this time it was a Lumberjack model which was recreated in ALOX!

Wenger has been selling the 120mm Ranger series for many years now, and i've never made my preference for them a secret.  I like the bigger blade and i like the bigger saws that are a noticeable amount larger than the comparable Victorinox 111mm size.  However, I have always preferred the one handed opening feature available from Victorinox.  Well, OHT, you have met your match!

This year's SOSAK Mod Competition was pretty fierce and while there were only four entries, there were some fantastic and imaginative  mods done.  I won't say which one I voted for because to be honest, I wanted them all to win.  A huge thank you goes out to all members who participated, and also to all members who supported the competition by voting for their favorites, and placing bids on some of the most unique SAKS available.

It’s time once again to start this year’s SOSAK Knife Of The Year program, and Travis has arranged for something very special this year!  Each year he does something really impressive, and somehow he manages to top it the next year!  I don’t know how he does it!
